It was once said that there are three things you cannot recover in life.
- Words (after they’re said)
- Moments (after they’re missed)
- Time (after it’s gone)
Let’s be honest. We are born, we live, we die. We all follow the same basic path. Words, moments, and time are important aspects of the ‘we live’ part. My father taught me the “once you say something you can never take it back” rule and it allowed me to have balance and a developed set of filters. Prayer and meditation has offered me opportunities to be actively engaged in the ‘moments’ for they go way too fast (especially as you get older). So, today I am going to tell you some of my favorite ‘time’ savers.
This year my husband bought me the gift of time. An iRobot! Yes, the one of the best material gifts I have received. I used to vacuum every day or every other day. And this little gem, has saved me hours of my life. Now I can spend more time on the ‘moments’. If you can save for it, it is worth every single penny.
My next favorite item is the Blendtec blender. This has given myself and family the ability to eat better. We use it for healthy smoothies, ice cream, and soup. It is a great time saver in the mornings for a quick breakfast. I never have to worry about using a separate wand to help blend, it works all on its own. This was another large purchase for our family but worth every cent.
Another one of my favorite items is my Yeti Tumbler. It keeps my tea hot for hours. If you are like me and always busy, my tea or sometimes coffee never stays hot. This helps me not waste my drink and save money (since I am making it myself). A second favorite, especially in the summer is the Mira Water Bottles. Whether you are at the beach, on a soccer field, or by the poolside – these bottles keep your drinks cold. I once left it in the car when we were at the beach all day. The water was cold when we got back in the car (its crazy) and you are not drinking from plastic!
While there are many more products that I find time saving, these are my favorite 3. So tell me, what favorite time saving items do you use?
