Today I wanted to talk about some of my favorite beauty books. Some of these books are great for skin care while others are good for the soul. I hope that you enjoy them all.
Did You know that the SKIN is the largest organ of the body? It is affected by a lot of things, such as what we Eat, our Environment, and our Emotions. I call these the 3 E’s
ENVIRONMENT
This is the stuff in the environment and what we put on our bodies. The less exposure to chemicals the better.
- Aromatherapy Handbook for Beauty, Hair, and Skin Care
- This book is everything on the outside. I love this book because it is easy to read and understand. It gives great DIY recipes and it can be used like a reference guide. I love that it incorporates hair and skin care -since we all tend to include both when we get ready (at least most of the time for me).
EMOTIONS
Ever hear the old saying that stress causes wrinkles. That would be how your emotions effect your appearance. Think about it … when you look good you feel good and visa versa. Understanding what makes you happy and why will truly help your appearance. These books are my favorite when you need to work on your insides. A counselor is also another option.

- This is a book good for the soul. It helps you get rid of the energy vampires in your life and really focus on what matters the most.
- Find Your Why: A Practical Guide for Discovering Purpose for You and Your Team
- This book will help you rethink everything you do in your personal life and your career. It is designed to help you find your purpose in life. It will help you figure out what is beyond the surface.
- Oola: Find Balance in an Unbalanced World
- Again, this is more for your insides since beauty is not so skin deep. When you work on YOU, you can live the life of your dreams and it will show on your skin 😊
EAT
Every hear that old saying you are what you eat. What you put in your body truly matters. And it will make or break your skin. These days clean eating can be a challenge by it doesn’t have to be. You can do better starting with what you put in your mouth (all puns aside).
